Children and their families designed and built small chairs for teddy bears. Participants developed their own ideas and assembled their chairs.
From idea to object

The workshop drew on the work of Enzo Mari and his belief that anyone could build their own chair. The teddy bear gave participants a specific user to design for, inviting them to explore form, scale and use.

The workshop was part of the museum’s family programme.
